Accommodation at The Open

Enjoy the excitement of the world’s most prestigious golf tournament while staying in our luxurious, fully equipped bell tents, where comfort meets nature, a short distance from the St. Andrews Old Course, there is no better choice for The Open 2027 accommodation!

We’re open from Saturday 11th July until Monday 19th and we can accommodate 2, 3 or 4 persons per tent, with the beds configurable to your liking.

Set within the historic walled grounds of St Leonard’s School in St Andrews, right in the heart of the town, you’ll feel like you’re staying on a country estate, as opposed to an urban glamping village! Our bell tents sit across the school’s grass playing fields, just a short stroll from the Old Course.
The site is well equipped with plenty of hot showers and flushing toilets.
Breakfast will be available each morning, served early enough so that you can be at the course for gates opening.
The historic town of St Andrews hosts a wonderful variety of bars, pubs, and shops, perfect for a bite to eat or a drink before returning to your cosy bell tent for a restful night’s sleep under the stars. Home of golf and steeped in history, St Andrews boasts attractions like West Sands Beach, St Andrews Cathedral, and St Andrews Castle, all within easy walking distance. Whether you’re exploring the coastline or soaking in local culture, St Andrews offers the ideal blend of relaxation and adventure. It’s also the perfect base for enjoying the Open, all while providing a peaceful retreat after a day of excitement.
St Andrews is a fantastic destination for tourists seeking history, natural beauty, and vibrant local culture. As the Home of Golf, it draws visitors from around the world to walk in the footsteps of the game’s earliest players. History lovers can explore the ruins of St Andrews Cathedral, once the largest church in Scotland, and climb St Rule’s Tower for sweeping views across the town and coast, or step inside St Andrews Castle with its underground mine and infamous bottle dungeon. Just beyond the town, the two-mile stretch of West Sands offers beautiful walks along the coast, made famous by the opening scenes of Chariots of Fire. Whether you’re indulging in local seafood, strolling the cobbled streets of the university town, or browsing the independent shops along Market Street, St Andrews provides a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
