Castletown
Our Southern location is at Castletown FC’s stadium, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Castletown and 10 miles from Douglas, so out of the hustle and bustle of the capital.
About the Site
The site has a clubhouse with toilets and hot showers which are open 24 hours a day, a lounge area, a kitchen serving breakfast from 07:00-10:00 each day and a licensed bar open between 19:00 to 00:00.
There are great transport links from the site into Douglas and beyond. There is a bus stop in the centre of Castletown, or one next to the steam railway station, all only half a mile away.
Castletown also has various bars, pubs, restaurants and shops to offer too.

Douglas
Our Douglas site is located at Ballakermeen High School, a mere 10 minute walk from the Grandstand and a 20 minute walk from the bustling centre of the island’s capital.
About the Site
Based in a state of the art high school in central Douglas, the Ballakermeen site boasts a cinema room with a TT Live+ Pass, a lounger area, a kitchen serving traditional breakfasts from 07:00-11:00 and evening meals too. There are toilets and hot showers avalible 24 hours a day. Free tea and coffee will be avalible in the reception area from 11:00-07:00 each day, closing during breakfast service.
As the school is operational until Thursday 30th there is no accomodation avalible in Douglas during Practice week. For guests arriving on Thursday 30th, check in is not until 16:30 and there will be limited access to facilities until 11:00 on Friday 31st. Toilets and hot showers will be available from your arrival.

Booking
We accept bookings from groups of any size, practice week accomodation is discounted by 30% and we offer a long stay discount of 10% for bookings longer than a week.
If you’d like to book on our deposit system a 25%, non-refundable payment is due immediately to secure the booking with the balance due in Jan 2025.
Checking in
Standard check in is from 15:00-22:00 and check out is by 10:00. If you’re arriving after the regular check in hours, just let us know in advance and we’ll have a member of the team waiting for you to arrive. If you’re on an early ferry or flight, early check in will be permitted where possible, if your accomodation is not ready you can leave your baggage with us for collection later in the day, while you go and explore.

FAQs
Either the whole amount at the time of booking or on a 25/75% split.
With the split the 25% deposit is payable to secure the booking, with the balance due at the end of January.
If you are booking after January, the total balance will be payable immediately. Payments can made via bank transfer or via card at the time of booking. If you need to pay via transfer, please us the contact form to get in touch to request an invoice.

Yes both sites have hot showers and flushing toilets open 24 hours a day.
No, but you can charge devices in the club house at Castletown or in the reception area/lounge at Douglas. For warmth, we provide winter tog duvets with throws on the beds. If you are someone who feels the cold a lot, it may be best to bring extra bedding with you.
Yes. The kitchen is open for breakfast early enough for you to get a good start on race days. There will also be evening meals available on certain days.
The Castletown site had a licensed bar open between the hours of 1900 and 0000 each evening.
Douglas does not have a licensed bar but there are drinking establishments within a 10 minute walk from the site.
Yes, both sites have good access to the islands public transport network. Timetables are sent out as part of the welcome pack prior to your arrival. The buses run later and more regularly than usual during race season, so you can still get back to site if you want to stay out late.
Castletown
We’re located just 1.5 miles from the airport, handy for those flying over. Castletown itself is only half a mile away and has various shops, bars and restaurants.
Douglas
There are a whole host of eateries, bars and shops within a 30 minute walk of the Douglas site.
