The Open Championship is the oldest golf tournament in the world. Established in 1860 at Prestwick Golf Club, later touring the majority of links courses in the UK, to win the open at St Andrews is considered to be the pinnacle of golf.
Nine Yards Bell Tents are located on a fantastic site under 5 miles from the Royal Portrush Golf Course, with a shuttle bus service running from the site to the course each morning and back again in the evening.
Our site opens on Saturday 12th July and runs through until Sunday 20th July. Standard check in is from 1500-2000 and check out is by 1100. If you’re arriving outside of the regular check in hours, just let us know in advance and we’ll have a member of the team waiting for you to arrive.
Breakfast will be available on site each morning, served early enough so that you can be at the course for gates opening.
Portstewart has various bars, pubs, restaurants and shops so you can stop for a bite to eat or a drink before heading back for a good nights sleep.

There are 2 options, you can chose a 25% deposit to secure the booking, with the balance due at the end of January or pay the total at the time of booking.
If you are booking after January, the total balance will be payable immediately. Payments can made via bank transfer or via card at the time of booking. If you need to pay via transfer, please us the contact form to get in touch to request an invoice.
Each tent is furnished with real beds, winter tog duvets, 2 pillows and a throw per bed. There is matting throughout, a solar lantern, small table, mirror, clothes drying rack, general bin and recycling bin too.
The first bookable day is Saturday 12th July and we close on Monday 21st

No, unfortunately we can not provide power to the tents but there is a solar lantern that can charge phones and there are plenty of charging points in the main club house for you to use.
For warmth, we provide winter tog duvets with throws on the beds. If you are someone who feels the cold a lot, it may be best to bring extra bedding with you.
